"Further to my previous post about the alternative 1940s weekend being planned by the shops and folks of Lytham, a similar event is being planned by the shops and folks of St Annes! It is planned to run from the Thursday to the Sunday (August 13-16th).

At the moment they are planning to have a cavalcade around the town on most days but I have no details yet.

On the Saturday they would like military vehicles and us in uniform with Boys' Toys to be parked up in front of Mark Rae Funeral Directors at 11 Wood Street, FY8 1QS.so that the public can have a look at us and hopefully spend some money in the town. There are no funerals on that day. I realise that most of us will be at Heatons Bridge and have told them this. If you're free it would be good to have a socially distanced event! Any queries, give me a shout"!
