A multi period event held on 11th and 12th April at Bodrhyddan Hall, Dyserth Rd, Rhuddlan, Rhyll, LL18 5SB. Look for No Man's Land on Facebook for more details.
NLC Crank up
To be held on the 24 to 26 April at Crooklands, Cumbria just off the M6 at junction 36. The campsite is opposite the Crooklands Hotel where a pre-booked meal will be available on the Saturday night. Parking for motorhomes and caravans is available at £8 per night. Contact Sally Percival at m55sal@yahoo.co.uk for details and bookings.
Mid Lancs MVT Crank Up
Awaiting confirmation!! 24 to 26 April to be held at the same place as last year Shaw Hall Holiday Park 155 Smithy Ln, Scarisbrick, Ormskirk L40 8HJ. Unfortunately clashing with our own Crank up but listed for information. Our area is invited to join in.
Brougham Hall
Held on 7th to 10th May at Brougham Hall, Penrith, CA10 2DE. Admission is free but donations to Brougham Hall are appreciated. Entry forms have been distributed but if you need one, contact Boyan Holmes.
Cheshire & Merseyside Camp
9th, 10th May an informal collection of vehicles and camping. The camp will be held at Blakemere Craft Centre, Sandiway, Northwich, CW8 2EB. Contact Dave Plumb on 07770876479 or email him on davmaxATntlworld.com to book in to the event or ask any questions.
Foxfield Railway War Wheels
On the 15 - 17 May at Foxfield Railway Station, Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent, ST11 9BG. A small gathering of military vehicles centered around the railway. No indication of camping on the website so contact the organisers for details.
Chipping Steam Fair
To be held on the 23rd to 25th May 2025. The Chipping Steam Fair is back. Be guided by the marshalls and don't assume you are in the old area of the field. If you haven't been before, where have you been? Forms are available from https://www.chippingsteamfair.com/forms
Carlisle Castle
Details to be had from Chris Hallam but will be held on 30 - 31 May at Carlisle Castle. This is a multi period event so expect many different groups attending. If I remember right, access is restircted due to the size of the gateway but check with Chris for access.
Glossop Heritage Weekend
We have received invitations to attend this event, so see https://glossopheritageweekend.org/ for details. It is arranged for 29 - 31 May and seems to be centres around Norfolk Square in Glossop. In particular they are requesting pre 1980 vehicles.
Heskin Hall 1940s weekend
30th and 31st May at Heskin Hall, Wood Lane, Heskin, Chorley, PR7 5PA. A friendly gathering on this historic site and access to the shopping village for those urgent purchases.
Country Fest at Crooklands
Another on 30-31 May, Crooklands are holding their annual Country Fest. Recommended by some for the variety of good food available. They also welcome military vehicles for display.
Kirkbride Fly In
For one day on 7th June, at the Kirkbride airfield, Kirkbride Cumbria, CA7 5HP, there will be an open day and fly in for aircraft owners and enthusiasts. If you want to bring your MV along to display, you will be welcome but you must book in beforehand. The event is not open to the public as announced on their website. Hot food and trial flights are available. Camping is available too if you wish to stay overnight.
Wartime in the Vale
20th and 21st June the event will be held at the Ashdown Camp. Location is Ashdown Farm, Badsey Rd, Evesham, Worcestershire, WR11 7PA. Details can be found at https://ashdowncamp.com/.

Damhouse 1940s weekend

Carnforth Weekend
27th and 28th June at Carnforth Station there will be a 2 day event at which you can display your vehicles. They are celebrating 81 years since Brief Encounter was filmed there. Fylde Vintage Steam and Farm show
The 27th and 28th June are the dates for this show held at the Show Field, Wharles near Kirkham, PR4 3SN. A mixed collection of vehicles and farm paraphernalia will be on show. Details can be found at https://www.fyldevintageandfarmshow.co.uk/
Ingleton Operation Home Guard

Kirkby Stephen
Set up day is the 10th July and the event is open on the 9th to 12th July in Kirkby Stephen, Yorkshire where there will be a military weekend. Coordinated by Chris Hallam, there should be camping and facilities available. Further details follow from Boyan. There is a schools' day on the Friday so would very much appreciate support for that - you can arrive from Thursday 6pm onwards - all age vehicles welcome -modern and authentic camping and caravans/motorhomes if booked in. Catering during the day is at the station and in the evening at the Campsite opposite. Please send forms asap to wartimeweekend@gmail.com.
Yorkshire Wartime Experience
7th, 8th and 9th August are the dates for the YWE. Details including booking can be found at https://www.yorkshirewartime.com. It is possible someone will coordinate entries for our group along with Mid Lancs so that we can camp together, but you must book yourself in first with the event. Note the new location of Willows Farm, Kirkhouse Green near Doncaster, DN7 5TA.
Lytham Wartime weekend
The dates for Lytham are 14th to 16th August 2025, and will be held on the Lytham Green, next to the sea. Details of the event can be found at https://www.discoverfylde.co.uk/lytham1940s/ but note the camping restrictions that apply, particularly to motorhomes and caravans. Note that the website includes a link to an expression of interest in the event. No booking forms are required.
Morecambe 1940s revival event
Confirmed that there is no event being scheduled for 2026, but they hope to return in 2027.
Cumbria Classic and Motorsport Show
Held at Dalemain Mansion, Dalemain, Penrith, CA11 0HB on the 23 August. This is organised by the Wigton Motor Club but we are invited to attend.
Southport Airshow
29th and 30th August the airshow will be visible from the sea front, or tickets for the show at the airfield can be bought online. Details can be found at https://www.visitsouthport.com/airshow.
The Victory Show
To be held on 4th to 6th September at Foxlands Farm, Cosby, Leicestershire, LE9 1SG the show is a mixture of military re-enactors and vehicles together with some flying displays. Chatsworth Country Fair
A country fair held at the famous Chatsworth House will be on 4 - 6 September. It is possible to book into this event for a weekend of varied entertainment. https://www.chatsworth.org/events/chatsworth-country-fair/ for details. Caravans and Motorhomes can be booked to the event but I'm not sure about tents. Contact the organisers for details.
Grassington 40s weekend
Military vehicles in camps are no longer possible at this event as there is no camping on the National Trust car park so the only options are to go as a re-enactor or display your vehicle in the village on the day itself. Your vehicle must be booked in and a spot allocated to you in the village. Booking forms can be found at https://www.grassington1940sweekend.co.uk/ along with other information, though forms are currently for 2025 so check before you download. It is on from 18th to 20th September, provisionally,at Grassington, Near Skipton, Yorkshire. It can be worth going simply for the fish and chips.
We Have Ways Fest
